Le Muratore
A place full of history
In the nineteenth century Mr. Muratore, liqueur-maker and confectioner gave his name to this great Haussmann-style house located in the historical centre on the “place Jean Bernex”, close to the Cachat spring, formerly known as the Sainte Catherine fountain.
Throughout the twentieth century, under the ownership of L. Kloeckner, Le Muratore was an exclusive “place to be” in Evian, open all year round. Its hotel, bar, brasserie, tea room and dance area welcomed guests staying in Evian for the benefits of hydrotherapy cures.
Today, in this timeless setting, you enjoy the dishes of the Rhone-Alpine cuisine and the best products of the local fishery.
